The Warren Arts & Education Foundation will present the Black and Gold Gala on April 14, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. at the Indianapolis Marriott East. The Black and Gold Gala celebrates the impact that the WAEF has in Warren Township.
“During the Black & Gold Gala, we will celebrate the impact we have made together in Warren Township throughout the year. The event raises funds to bridge the school funding gap to create exceptional learning experiences and equitable opportunities for all Warren students.” Executive Director of the Warren Arts and Education Foundation and Director of Alumni Engagement Brittney Silkworth said.
This celebration will be a fun one, with a lot of different activities including a cocktail reception which will with cocktail attire, a photo booth, dinner, both a silent and live auction, gift card, and wine pull, and will introduce some of this year's grant winners. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with companies in Indianapolis and surrounding areas, as well as school administrators and staff.
Something new added to this year's celebration is the after-party. There will be an after-party with complimentary drinks, late-night food, and a DJ. This is not just to party, your participation will continue to remove barriers to help support learning in Warren Township.
Tables include eight seats and are available for $800 if purchased by March 1. Tables purchased after this date increase to $1,000. Those who can't attend can still support WAEF by participating in the online silent auction.
“During the event, we will have a silent auction. You can bid from anywhere and you do not have to attend the event to bid. Visit www.warrenfoundation.org/gala to register for the auction,” Silkworth said.
WAEF's Silent Auction will feature gifts that will be listed on the auction website. Everyone who registers can bid on the gift baskets, tickets, experiences, wine and spirits, gift cards, and a bunch of other auction items donated by friends of the organization. The online Silent Auction will open on April 9, 2023, and close at 8:00 p.m. on April 14, 2023. This event is just one of the major fundraisers for the Warren Arts & Education Foundation each year. In addition to the Black & Gold Gala, the Warren Arts & Education Foundation will have its annual Golf Outing at Maple Creek Golf & Country Club on June 13, 2023.
The Warren Arts & Education Foundation continues to provide opportunities and generate funding to support the college, careers, academic achievements, and experiences. All thanks to the donations and participation in fundraisers.
