Get ready for the Spider-Verse

The animated Spiderman series, following Miles Morales, is back this year with “Spider-man: Across the Spider-Verse” and superhero fans are beyond excited.

The actors from the last movie will carry on as their original characters but will also introduce a few new actors and characters to the scene. The film will be filled with notable actors, such as Oscar Issac playing Spider-man 99, and Daniel Kaluuya as Spider-Punk - two of the new spider-mans from different universes that viewers have yet to see.

The movie will again follow Miles as he enters the spider-verse and meets some of the new spider-men, whose sole purpose is to protect the multiverse. An interesting twist that the movie will feature is instead of fighting some of the original villains, like how they fought Green Goblin and the Prowler in the first movie Miles will have to hold his own against a legion of Spider-men.

This is the first time the animated series will be back in action since 2018 and they are expecting a huge turnout. The original “Spider-man Into the Spider-Verse” had a 90 million dollar budget and grossed 284.3 million in revenue. Since Marvel has been on a slight hiatus, fans are excited to return to the theaters and see their beloved characters again.

Fans loved the high quality of the animation and witty script writing of the last movie and are hoping for a similar feel. The film is set for release on June 2, 2023. Usually, summertime is a big time for Marvel releases, so the fans are hoping that it will be released early. The movie will be available for viewing at any theater near you and will eventually take its place on Disney+.
