  • Thumbs up to… The 14th Amendment potentially disqualifying Donald Trump from being able to get back into office. The 14th Amendment states, “No person shall … hold any office, under the United States … who, having previously taken an oath … to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.” This means that if a president commits an action that could be seen as an insurrection or rebellion, they can not only be indicted but disqualified from regaining entry to office. However, Trump has not been convicted of inciting insurrection, and some legal experts claim disqualifying him could set a “troubling precedent,” according to reporting from Reuters.  https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-disqualified-office-14th-amendment-opinion-1825412
