Thumbs up to… The astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore successfully making it back to Earth on March 18 at 6 p.m., landing in the Gulf Coast of Florida. The astronauts were in space for 286 days on the International Space Station. They were up there past their originally planned time, which was a week, because of technical difficulties.

Thumbs up to… BTS planning to reunite in June 2025 after they have done their required military service. Although the K-pop band won’t have potential world tours and full-fledged comebacks until 2026, they will be free to continue their musical careers this summer.

Thumbs up to… Mario Kart World being slated for a worldwide release on June 5. This is a whole new spin on the Mario Kart formula, which offers new and returning characters and a whole new kart selection that will not be customizable this time. What really makes this game stand out is the open-world structure of the game and allowing players to travel to the next racing course rather than having to wait on a loading screen.

Thumbs up to… Ken Carson, a popular artist, releasing a new Album called “More Chaos” on his birthday, April 11, making this his fourth studio album as a rapper. The album was created under Playboi Carti’s label of Opium and Interscope Records, making Carson one of the first people to sign with the label. Carson has 10 million listeners on Spotify and three billion streams across the globe.

Now Canadian oil companies are trying to break dependency on America and are feeling betrayed by one of their biggest assets, causing a trade war.
