One of the most anticipated shows this year is “Euphoria,” with its amazing actors and actresses, to its beautiful camera work. That’s not the only good thing about this show. This show has so many twists and turns that it had people on the edge of their seats. Sadly, season one of the show ended Aug. 4, 2019. It had fans begging for more but due to COVID, the production for season 2 had to stop so fans didn’t get to see the beloved characters for a while, until now.
The series follows a group of high school students through their experiences of identity, trauma, drugs, friendships, and love. It stars Zendaya as the lead role. Zendaya plays Rue, a troubled teen that is known in her school for overdosing over the summer. After rehab, she comes home just in time for the new school year and that is when Rue meets Jules (Hunter Schafer) the New Girl at the school who is very close friends with Kat (Barbie Ferreira) who she met at camp over the summer. One night, Kat invites Jules to a party and that is where Rue and Jules meet. Ever since, they met and things just clicked for them and they became the best of friends, but later on in the show, they started dating.
This show has very talented actors and actresses like Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney who plays Cassie Howard. Sweeney has played in other shows like “Everything sucks,” and ‘The Hite Lotus.” Another actor in the show is Jacob Elordi who plays Nate Jacobs. Elorid has played in one of Netflix’s most famous movie franchises, “The Kissing Booth”as Noah Flynn. One of the cool things about this show is that not all of the actors are actual trained actors. Angus Cloud who plays Fezco was scouted by Euphoria casting agent Jennifer Venditti, who he originally suspected was scamming him. Another is Sophia Rose who plays BB. She was found in the mall and was asked to try out for the part.
For readers who love this show and can’t wait for season two, you are in luck. The season has started with four episodes out already. Each episode is about 50 minutes long and new episodes come out every Sunday at 9 p.m. on the dot, so don’t miss out on being one of the first to watch the new episode.
