The Warren Central baseball team is ready for action. Having put in a lot of work during the offseason, the players are excited to see what they can do.

“I’m looking forward to just seeing the start of a new culture here at Warren, really getting out and seeing all the work we’ve done over the offseason pay off,” junior Eli Shaw said.

Players are doing everything they can to help the team perform well this coming season.

“Some of my goals are just to do my best to help the team go as far as we can and really drive [us] to do [our] best and help the team succeed in the best way possible,” sophomore Josh James said.

The players are very excited about having a new coaching staff to work with, providing new opportunities that the program has not had experience with in a long time.

“I’m looking forward to having these new coaches go guide us and coach us this season,” senior Jacob Hobbs said.

Overall, the team has gained a lot of new faces this year, bringing a lot more skills to the table for coaches to work with.

“We’ve got talent so I'm looking forward to seeing us put that talent to use and winning some games,” Shaw said.
