Many smoothies can be green, especially the really healthy options. Look up some recipes online for green smoothies and give it a try.

A green smoothie recipe:

-Fresh green spinach 

-Frozen pineapple 

-Frozen Mango

-Fresh Banana 

Steps:

Blend one cup of fresh green spinach, adding greens to a smoothie will boost the phytonutrients and fiber. Next blend in one cup with the liquid of choice, blend until the chunky leaves are gone. Add the fruits in, blend again until smooth and creamy. Serve smoothing immediately for the best nutrients.

Made with pudding mix, mint extract, and chocolate chips. A recipe made especially for mint chocolate lovers. 

Mint chocolate pudding cookies Recipe:

-Half cup of softened butter (one stick)

-One egg

-Half cup of sour cream (or plain yogurt)

-One small box of instant pudding mix

-Half a teaspoon of salt and baking soda

-Two cups of all purpose flour

-Two teaspoons of mint extract 

-Three drops of blue food coloring and 10-15 drops of green food coloring

-One and a half cups of chocolate chips

Steps:

In a bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients (flour, salt, and baking soda). Add the flour mixture into the pudding mix until well combined, then add mint extract and food coloring until desired color is made. Add in the chocolate chips and place the cookies onto the tray to put into the oven. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes. Once done, leave to cool and enjoy.

Greening of The Canal-

On March 12 at 5 p.m., the Hoosier Lottery will help Indianapolis celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by making the downtown canal go green. Irish food trucks, music, and special guests will all be a part of this St. Patrick's Day celebration.

St. Patrick’s Day Skate-

On March 17 at around 3:30 p.m., the Skateland at 3902 N Glen Arm Rd, Indianapolis is holding a St. Patrick’s Day skating event. Green glow sticks can be purchased for $1 and skate rentals are $5 and admission is $5 as well.
