Reboot of the popular film franchise

     As spring approaches, Warner Bros and DC Films are releasing a new stand-alone movie, “The Batman.” The movie introduces a fresh cast of characters and a reboot of the original franchise.

     Fans and viewers are eager to watch the new movie and expect a familiar setting, a new storyline, and new allies. 

     The most recent addition into the Batman franchise, “The Dark Knight Rises” focuses on Batman saving Gotham City from nuclear destruction. A new villain, Bane, has become a problem for Batman, As his plan is to bring absolute destruction to Gotham with the help of his henchmen.

     The trailer focuses on the feud between the Riddler and a much younger Batman. As the Riddler is projecting fear and destruction on the city of Gotham, the Batman is working his hardest to fight against the Riddler, even saying “I don’t care what happens to me,” followed by the Catwoman stating, “It’s only going to get worse for you.” Due to the impact on the city from this feud, the police and Batman’s allies are starting to turn on the masked vigilante leaving him to fend for himself. The trailer ends with a man screaming “I got you, I got you,” before Batman drives through fire, crashing into the man’s car. Afterward, the Batman is seen walking towards a burning vehicle leading to the title card saying “The Batman” and only In Theaters March 4, 2022.

     Based on the trailer, fans can expect action-packed footage and a better look at the young life of Batman.

     “The Batman” was directed by Matt Reeves, and developed by Warner Bros. and DC Films. The actors include The Batman (Robert Pattinson), Selina Kyle/Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz), Riddler (Paul Dano), Penguin (Colin Farrel), James Gordan (Jeffrey Wright), Alfred (Andy Serkis), and many more.

     So far fans are excited to see “The Batman” and can’t wait to see what’s more to come with the franchise. “The Batman” premiered on March 4, only in theaters.
