Horror fans are excited for the release of “Evil Dead: The Game.” Evil Dead introduces a thrilling atmosphere, co-op gameplay, and player versus player combat.
Fans and supporters expect a similar atmosphere to the late “Friday the 13th: The Game,” an option to play as good or evil, a fresh campaign, over the top visuals, iconic characters such as Ash, Scotty, Lord Arthur, Kelly Maxwell, Pablo Simon Bolivar, and more to be playable, gore, and multiplayer.
The trailer starts with Ash (Bruce Campbell) and three other characters walking with him within the woods. The camera then pans in front of the characters showcasing them. After this, the characters begin killing creatures, zombies, and even each other. In a shot, it shows Ash killing a zombie with his iconic chainsaw attached to his limb. Throughout the trailer, the camera introduces Rifts, cars, and the ability to be a creature yourself. The trailer also showcases safehouses, where you can do quests and refill on supplies and get new weapons. Towards the end of the trailer it shows the title card “Evil Dead: The Game,” then it transitions to the Kandarian Demon, a deadly villain swinging his sword at a player.
“Evil Dead: The Game” is produced and developed by Saber Interactive. The voice actors include Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell), Kelly Maxwell (Dana DeLorenzo), Pablo Simon Bolivar (Ray Santiago), Cheryl (Ellen Sandweiss), Scotty (Hel Delrich), Linda (Betsy Baker), and Shelly (Theresa Tilly), and many more.
Fans' expectations are high when relating to “Evil Dead: The Game,” but the question is: will the game meet fans’ and supporters' expectations fully? “Evil Dead: The Game” will be released May 13 on Playstation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
