One of HBO’s hit documentaries, “I Love You, Now Die” is being turned into a drama series. This show will follow the events leading up to Conrad Roy’s death. The main cause of his death is because of his girlfriend Michelle Carter who told him to kill himself.
This story was brought into the spotlight because of HBO and their well-made documentary about “The Commonwealth v. Michelle Carter Court Case.” This case is about Michelle Carter and if she should be charged for killing her boyfriend even though she physically did not kill him. Instead, she told him over text that he should kill himself.
The show will feature a dramatized scene from the court case but it will focus more on Michelle Carter and Conrad Roy at the start of their relationship, and the reasons why Michelle would tell Conrad to end his life.
Michelle Carter will be played by Elle Fanning, who has been in previous movies and shows like “Maleficent”, “The Great,” and “All the Bright Places.”
This show will also feature Colton Ryan who isn’t in much but has played Connor Murphy in “Dear Evan Hansen.”
For readers who have seen the court case and like teenage drama series then watch the show “The Girl from Plainville,” it can only be watched on Hulu.
