     Latinx Heritage Month is the perfect opportunity to highlight and explore Latinx owned businesses around the community. There are a variety of cool and fun places to visit and share new experiences with friends, such as going to a comedy club, learning new dances, eating tasty food, ice cream and enjoying a different culture's sweet treats. 

Gutty’s Comedy Club:

     Gutty’s Comedy Club is a non-age-restricted comedy club. The focus of this is to entertain families, and also to bring a different side to comedy. This is also an opportunity for aspiring comedians to come and practice, as well as people who just want to stand up on the stage and make people laugh. A comedy show is held every Friday and Saturday night in Greenwood, Indiana. While performing comedians get in for free, but the audience pays $5 for that night's shows. This Comedy club requires no swearing, sexual annuendos, or racially charged content. Latin Expressions Dance Company

     For those wanting to explore their dance creativity and advance their knowledge of different dancing styles, the Latin Expression Dance Company is the right place to go. There is a variety of beginner and advanced instructors to help and learn with the students as well. Latin Expressions Dance Company teaches Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, ChaCha, and more. Chris’ Ice Cream and Mexican Food

     Chris’ Ice cream is a variety of Mexican goods and ice cream. Chris’ flavors vary between chocolate chip cookie dough, Oreo, Guanabana Soursop and more. Not only is there ice cream, but Mexican food as well. Also, customers get the option of a sample to try for as many ice creams to give their taste buds plenty of different, fun, and new flavor options. Chris’ Ice Cream also serves Mexican food.      Step into Artisans and try traditional Latino bread and pastries to savor. The desserts vary from empanadas, tiramisu, flan and more for customers to try. Artisans have over 30 different pastries like Cochinito, which is a sweet bread spiced with flavor from molasses, Almohado which is a soft sweet bread with cream cheese or your choice of dulce de leche spread in the center.
