Willard Skatepark:
Willard Skatepark is a newly opened skatepark in Indianapolis. This is the first outdoor skatepark that has been built in over 20 years in Indianapolis. It was built by skaters for other skaters. This skatepark was created in memory of former skater Ethan Williams, who lost his life due to random violence on Oct. 24, 2020, in Brooklyn, New York. The park offers ramps, ledges, bars, and banks at the skatepark, but one specific and special ramp is Ethan’s book banks. These are two ramps combined together to make a figure of a book. During the sunset, a heart shaped shadow is formed by the two ramps. Willard skatepark is located on 1901 E Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN. Young skaters and experienced skaters will be attracted to this skatepark.
The AMP:
The AMP is Indiana’s newly built food hall. The food hall opened in 2021 during quarantine and wasn’t a well known opening. The AMP is a way to bring the Indiana community closer together, and a way for different people to try a diverse variety of food. There are many eating options like MAMBO’S Cheesesteak Grill, Boba everything, FRESKO Healthy Soul, and many more. The AMP even has a barbershop named the Black Orchid Barber. This food hall is located at 1220 Waterway Blvd. Indianapolis, IN. This would be a good place to hang out with friends and meet new people from our community. Moar Tea & Poké:
If one likes bubble tea and poké bowls, Moar Tea and Poké is a great place to go. Moar Tea and Poké is designed to resemble a bamboo hideout. This place is pretty small, so this would be a great place to catch up with a couple of friends. There are a variety of different types of bowls, salads, and sushi burritos. Moar Tea Poké has gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan-friendly options.The house specialties include bubble tea, Hulk blends red guava, passionfruit and lychee jelly. Tibbs Drive-in:
Tibbs Drive-in has been in Indiana since 1967, starting with just one movie screen, and now four screens playing with different movies a night for people to enjoy. This place is a fun, cheap way to enjoy a movie or two in the comfort of one's car with friends. On weekends, Tibbs hosts a flea market for all customers to enjoy. The drive-in has a concession stand with a variety of different foods like, funnel fries, ice cream, pizza, candy and more. Tibbs is located at 480 S Tibbs Ave, Indianapolis, IN.
