One of HBO Max’s most loved shows is back. “Harley Quinn” season three is coming back after a long break. Due to COVID, fans had to wait two years for season three of “Harley Quinn” to be released.
At the end of season two of the show, Harley can be seen taking down Dr. Psycho after he tried to kill Harley for Darkseid. After Harley destroyed Dr. Psycho, Darkseid asked if she would team up with him to conquer the world with him. She denied his request because after all, she felt that she didn’t want to be a villain anymore and just focus on herself. She always focused on her ex-boyfriend, The Joker. The last time fans saw Harley and Ivy together was in the season 2 finale. they can be seen driving off into the sunset while being chased by Commissioner Gordon and the entirety of Gotham's police force after he tried to crash Ivy’s wedding. The reason why was because the guest list was filled with supervillains that he was trying to put in jail, including but not limited to “Catwoman,” “Miss Frost,” “Killer Croc,” and “Bane.”
In this new season, Harley and Ivy are back and better than ever. The first episode of the season is “Harlivy” which will wrap up Harley and Ivy’s “Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour.” From the looks of the trailer, it seems that Ivy will go on a murderous rampage after Harley encouraged her to follow her dreams. An announcement was made that the infamous swamp thing will make an appearance in the third season. One of the biggest rumors made was that There will be a reference to “Batman: The Animated Series” and its iconic thunder scene, with Harley as Robin.
It is unknown if there will be a fourth season of “Harley Quinn.” There is, however, a spin-off show called “Noonan” that will be focused on Kite-Man. The show will mainly focus on Kite-Man after he and Ivy’s wedding burned to the ground after Harley confessed her love for Ivy. After he gets his life back together he will team up with the Golden glider to get the Noonan bar, one of their favorite hangouts in Gotham city. There are not many details following the main story for “Noonan.”
For fans of DC movies and shows or for people who like a good woman in a power story then watch “Harley Quinn.” The rating for the show is “TVMA” so it may not be suitable for some viewers. This show will come out with a new episode every week on HBO Max.
