Netflix releases a new “Knives Out” thriller

2022 was packed with long-awaited films, but one of the most anticipated was “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.” This is the second movie in the “Knives Out” franchise, which is set to release on Netflix this year.

“Glass Onion” will be directed Rian Johnson who filmed the first “Knives Out.” The film will also star Daniel Craig who will reprise his role of Detective Benoit Blanc. “Glass Onion” is really similar to the first “Knives Out” film. Miles Bron played by Edward Norton is a Tech billionaire who invites his friends for a getaway on his private Greek island, But When Miles Bron turns up dead, Detective Benoit Blanc is put on the case.

“Knives Out,” which came out in 2019, stars Daniel Craig as the famous Detective Benoit Blanc, who is hired mysteriously by an anonymous client who paid for Blanc to look into the suicide of Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) who was found with a large gash in the side of his neck. When Blanc starts wondering if the suicide was a murder he starts to question the Thrombey family, but the family isn’t who they say they are when the truth comes out about what they have done.

“Glass Onion” is already a fan favorite just because of the cast. “Knives Out” is known for its big reveal of who did it. It’s hard for movies to make the second movie as good as the first, so fans are skeptical of the outcome of the film. “Glass onion” is set to release on Dec. 23.
