Winter Guard

  • This Saturday, February 4th, the winter guards will compete at the IHSCGA Westfield Contest.  The Cadet Guard will perform at 10:35 am, and the Prelude Guard will perform at 11:17 am, with awards at 1:16 pm.  The JV Guard will perform at 3:12 pm, with awards at 4:45 pm, and the  World Guard will perform at 7:13 pm with awards at 8:00 pm.  General admission tickets are $7 each for ages 5 and up and $3 for children under $5

Theater

  • In the spring, Warren’s after school theater is planning on performing their musical “The SpongeBob Musical.” They will be holding auditions for The SpongeBob Musical on Feb. 6-8. The 6th will be a dance audition, the 7th will be a singing audition, and the 8th will be callbacks.

Showcase Choir

  • The show choirs will be heading out for their first competition this Saturday, Feb. 4th, at the Plainfield Quaker Invitational.  Hi-Lites will compete in the Uninvoiced Division at 10:50 am, and Connection will compete in the Mixed Division at 2:40 pm, both in the auditorium.  Preliminary awards will take place at 5:20 pm in the gym, and night finals will begin at 5:40 pm in the auditorium.  Final awards will be in the gym at 11:00 pm.  Tickets are $10 for preliminaries or finals and $15 for an all-day pass

Band

  • Nine WC Band students will compete this Saturday (February 4th) at ISSMA District Winds/Percussion/Strings Solo & Ensemble Contest at New Palestine Intermediate School.  They are:  Antwuan Arnold (clarinet trio), Griffin Cleveland (clarinet trio), Brendan Dominguez (baritone solo), Aigner Hines (alto saxophone solo), Reign. Beau Lange (tenor saxophone solo), Elliott Poor (alto saxophone solo), Aileen Stockdale (trombone solo), Benjamin Suesz (alto and soprano saxophone solos), and Leila Thompson (clarinet trio).  Benjamin, Reign.Beau, and the clarinet trio will be competing in Group I, which means that if they receive a Gold Rating, they will advance to State Finals.
