April 7, 2021
Welcome back and good afternoon Warren Students, Families, and Staff,
A few important updates are below:
Beginning yesterday, Tuesday, April 6, the Indiana mask mandate became a mask advisory with a few exceptions. One of those exceptions is the school setting. Warren will maintain our mask requirement for students and staff as well as our social distancing and handwashing expectations for the remainder of the school year.
We are excited to host Kindergarten Kick Off for the class of 2034 on Monday, April 19th from 5:30 - 7:00 at all of our elementary schools. This kickoff event provides our newest students and families to tour their school, meet our teachers and ask questions about the upcoming school year.
To provide as many families and caregivers the opportunity to provide their feedback, The Warren Family and Caregiver Survey for second semester has been extended and can be accessed at the following link, bit.ly/WarrenSurvey2021. Your input is valuable and appreciated.
It is hard to believe that we have just over 6 weeks remaining in the 20-21 school year. These last 37 days are very important for students in all grade levels, especially our high school students. If you have any needs whether they be social emotional or academic, please reach out to your child’s counselor or administrator.
I am excited to share that the Warren Pride Clean Up Day tradition, sponsored by the Warren Central PTSA, is back on Saturday, April 17th from 9:00 - 12:00. For more information and to register, please visit our Live Feed on our app or district website at warren.k12.in.us.
I hope you have a great rest of your week and we appreciate your continued investment in our students and schools.
Dr. Tim Hanson, Superintendent of Schools for MSD Warren Township
